High-Resolution Low Dose Flat Panel X-ray Detectors
Terapede Systems Inc, backed by Tier-1 venture funds is developing advanced X-ray imaging products for life science and industrial applications.
The Terapede product is feasible only because of patented technology that simultaneously provides high yield and high performance.
Our mission
To build ultra-high resolution, low dose, all format/size Flat Panel X-ray Detectors (FPDs) that produce unprecedented image quality.
The patented Terapede Systems 3D CMOS structure
The Terapede medical X-ray detector is the first fully integrated crystalline semiconductor (CMOS) high-resolution device that includes a complete path of X-ray to digital image conversion. At each stage of X-ray image capture, advantages such as negligible blur, extremely low electronic noise, and greater sensitivity enable a superior diagnostic image at a lower dosage than all other solutions today.
We completely integrate the X-ray detector at the nano level which dramatically increases sensitivity by capturing over 90% of the X-rays that form the diagnostic image. The nano-integrated scintillator eliminates the cross-talks that blur all images taken with existing X-ray detectors. The increased sensitivity and reduced blur enable a much lower dosage benefiting the patient and the surgeon.
Terapede Systems Product
High-Resolution Low Dose Flat Panel X-ray Detectors
The Terapede product is feasible only because of its patented technology, which provides high yield and performance. This technology permits each portion of the detector to be constructed most cost-effectively. The result is technologically superior, affordable digital X-ray FPDs.
